It was a hot night under a full moon (with the lowest tides ever) on February 8 as HISC gathered for our 19th Annual Chili Cook off In Lake Boca. There was an array of unique and different chili presented for judging. A total of 12 people contributed to the contest.
The boats that attended included our host boats Paradocs, Pegasus, and Lady Gray. The other boats present were Eximius, Loony Poons, Simpatico, Feeling Nauti and Cookie Monster. Others attending as visitors without boats via the Silver Palm access point making for a great crowd.
The winner of the annual trophy for the best chili was Mike Miceli on Loony Poons. The most unique chili was a chili empanada done by Eva Rabadan on Cookie Monster.
