Cruising Points

Q. What are they? 

Ans. Cruising points are our way of tracking our membership's participation in the HISC Cruising program.

During the year, we typically hold 12 Cruising events where club members are encouraged to get their boat out and join others in some of the exotic South Florida Locations - By 'Exotic' we mean destinations which are popular, such as Lake Boca, Lake Sylvia, Sunrise Bay, North Lake ( Hollywood ) locally. There are are the more far distant cruise destinations such as: Biscayne Bay, Lake Worth ( Peanut Island ) and Bimini. 

Q. How do members earn Cruising points.

Ans. Club members earn a Cruising point for attending at least one evening of a planned cruising event, however, they earn additional points by being a Host of a cruise or writing a cruising article for the Inlet Outlet Newsletter. Members can also earn a cruising point for donating blood at one of the two Blood Drives that we hold each year.
