HISC and the Palm Beach Sailing Club will be racing from .05 miles N of the HI entrance marker to Palm Beach .
The race starts on Saturday May 4, 2024, 10:00 AM. Be at the start line by 9:30. The race will not be delayed due to late arrivals.
4 classes: Spinnaker, Jib & Main, Multihull, and Cruising/ Gunkhole
The PHRF rating system will be used to score boats.
A Pre-race skippers meeting will be held Friday May 3 at Lake Boca at 5pm
A dingy service will be provided Friday night, to and from the Lake to the skippers meeting.
A dingy service will be provided Saturday morning 7-730 for any crew that needs to get to their boats in Lake Boca.

- Regular Registration before April 29 = $85; Late Registration thereafter = $125. Fees are payable during registration online.
- This Fee will include two dinner ticket and 2 drink tickets.
- Additional dinners can be purchased for $30 at the Race Event online Shop – click merchandise then Member-PBSC or Non-Member as appropriate. https://pbsail.org/races-and-regattas
- May 1, the dinner fee increases to $40 per person subject to availability. Cut-off Date for PBSC to place final food order.
- Cancellations made before May 1 will be refundable and must be done by contacting office@pbsail.org .
Special conditions
- The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the Sailing Instructions will govern the Racing.
- The Race committee will assign ratings to unrated vessels. Their decision on ratings will be final.
- The Spinnaker class is for monohull vessels using any specialty downwind sail such as a spinnaker - asymmetrical or symmetrical, Code Zero, etc..
- The Jib & Main class is for monohull vessels using Jib/Genoa and Mainsail only. (Vessel foresail must be attached to the forestay.)
- The Multihull class is for cruising catamarans or trimarans.
- The Cruising/Gunkhole Class - all levels of cruisers who want to race - good for first time racers
- For scoring purposes the race distance is 25 miles. A 12 second per mile adjustment will be used if a vessel’s PHRF rating is “with spinnaker” who enters the Jib & Main class.
