HISC Beach Committee

Beach Committee has always been a fun job in the club. It was a great way to introduce new sailors to the rules of sailing and to get a view of how a race starts and finishes while not being “on the start line”.

As of 2025, the condominium management has decided not to permit HISC to use their beachfront property for the initiation of races.  

If you know of a condo or home along the Hillsboro Mile or A1A that is on the ocean and open to a few individuals using their beach to run a race. Please let the Commodore or Race Chair know.

We miss being able to sit on the beach to start and finish the races.
