2026 Chili Cook Off

Save the Date!

On Saturday, January 31, 2026, HISC is hosting their annual Chili Cookoff from 3-6pm at 3000 NE 48th Ct., Lighthouse Point. This is the clubhouse of Rear Commodore Bruce Guttler. It’s a clubhouse with a beautiful view of the intracoastal, however, condo rules prohibit the docking of “guest” boats. Please only come by car and park in guest spots.

Please come out and sample the club’s hottest, sweetest, finest and most delicious chili – then vote for your favorite!

• Don’t want to make any stinking chili, but you will bring a side dish.

Prizes will be awarded in two categories: judges’ favorites and people’s choice, as follows:

• Judges 1st Place: Trophy

• People’s Choice: Bragging Rights

Contestants are responsible for:

• Chili in a crock pot

• Ladle (bowls & spoons will be provided)

• List of ingredients (not recipes or measurements)
