2023 Spring Youth Sailing
We have just concluded our Spring Youth Sailing session. We were blessed with fair weather and some pretty decent winds for all of our classes. For Barry and I, this was our fourth season handling the Youth Program. We've had some of the same families in attendance, and it was gratifying to see how the kids have improved.
In fact, some of the older kids are less interested in repeating the class, and have stepped up to help coach. Last fall, Evan Kuntz coached a few lessons in exchange for service hours. This spring, Regan Dorval coached all four sessions. This program only gets better the more everyone pitches in.
Whether you come out with your kids, hang out to watch, or stop by to assist for an hour or so, we love having you spend time with us at Youth Sailing at Quiet Waters Park.
We will begin registration for the Fall session on August 19th at our Landlubbers Event. Details to follow.
