With Heartfelt Thanks
We have just concluded our second session of Youth Sailing for the 2024 season. Our program just keeps getting better and better. And we’d like to thank you! All of you!
1. First, Thanks to the club for participating in our 50/50 raffles, and supporting the Nautical Flea Market online sales as these are our primary fundraisers. From time to time, we are also fortunate to receive direct donations.
2. We also pour out our thanks and love to our indomitable instructors: Jim Wallace & Josh Dorval.
3. And the many volunteer coaches: Mike Megarity, Tom Jockers, Jenny Kuntz, Jeff Zirulnick, Barrie Soloway, & Seth Shulman.
4. Also, Youth Sailing graduate, Naya Mondrosch who came out to work with the kids.
5. For updating the website with photos and creating a marketing piece, Diana Geren.
6. For our faithful volunteers who always arrived early to help us open up each Saturday morning. Hauling out the boats and getting the equipment ready: Paul Chasse, Amy Shafranek, Marie Graham & Don Snyder.
7. And we will always remember, David Burdett, who always showed up to lend a hand. Cleaning the boats, helping set up, coaching the kids, and of course, entertaining us all. We will miss you!
We have already started our plans for 2025, and as always, we welcome your support!
